        Want a 2012 Nissan 370Z? That’ll be at least $32,210 (including the $760 destination fee), according to Nissan’s recently released price sheet for the sporty coupe and roadster.

        Pricing is largely unchanged for the 370Z — Nissan announced that all 2012 370Z Coupe and Roadster models will cost the same as comparable 2011 models, but will get an oil cooler standard, which should please the car’s more spirited drivers.

        The base model will cost $32,210, which gets you a 332-hp 3.7-liter V-6 engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Customers can upgrade the transmission to a seven-speed automatic for $1300, or go for the full Sport package, which adds some go-fast visual items like an aerodynamic kit and SynchroRev Match, which works with the manual transmission to automatically blip the throttle on downshifts. Feel like adding some luxury? Upgrade to the 370Z Touring–which adds heated leather and synthetic-suede seats, a Bose eight-speaker sound system, keyless entry and start, Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, and aluminum pedals, all at a cost of $4700.

        Elsewhere in the model range, Nissan announced that its 370Z Roadster convertible will no longer be offered with a manual transmission in base trim–to get the three-pedal setup and a droptop, buyers will have to opt for the Touring model. The base Roadster, with the seven-speed automatic transmission, starts at $39,910, while the Touring model with a six-speed manual starts at $42,960.
Topping out the model range is the Nismo 370Z, which amps up the 3.7-liter engine to 350 horsepower, makes the SyncroRev Match feature standard for the six-speed manual, and adds an upgraded suspension, stickier tires, and a limited-slip differential. On the outside, there are plenty of aerodynamic modifications including a revised lower front fascia with chin spoiler and larger rear spoiler, and it sits atop special 19-inch wheels. All that will run you the same $41,590 as last year .

The 2012 Nissan Juke sees no major changes following its debut for the 2011 model year. Juke is a small 4-door hatchback with seating for 5 and styling that blends sports-car and compact-SUV elements. It comes in three trim levels: base S, mid-level SV, and top-line SL. Each is offered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The sole engine is a 188-horsepower 1.6-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder. All offer a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that behaves like an automatic. The front-drive SV and SL can be equipped with a 6-speed manual. Safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags. A wireless cell-phone link is standard across the board. SV and SL have a standard sunroof, keyless access/engine start, and automatic climate control. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a rearview camera are SL-exclusive standard features. A navigation system is standard on the SL and optional on the SV.

Two of Los Angeles’ most popular food trucks, The Grilled Cheese Truck and Coolhaus Truck, are teaming with Nissan to combine their takes on two food classics — grilled cheese sandwiches and ice cream sandwiches — with a pair of custom-outfitted Nissan NV vans.

The two NV2500 High Roof food truck concepts are making their debut this week not on the streets of L.A., but inside the Convention Center’s West Hall where they provided gourmet sandwiches.

That’s why they’ve been fitted with custom fold-out serving windows, work counters and full exterior graphics.

The 4.0-liter V6 design includes a Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS), Nissan variable Induction Control System (NICS), silent timing chain, microfinished camshaft and crankshaft surfaces, Teflon®-coated pistons, resin intake manifold, forged crankshaft, digital knock control system, high capacity muffler, lightweight aluminum block and cylinder heads and 105,000-mile spark plugs. The Frontier V6 is assembled at Nissan’s advanced engine production facility in Decherd, Tenn., which also produces Titan’s 5.6-liter V8.

Exceptional acceleration, towing capacity and all-around off-roading ability is provided, in large measure, by its powerful engine – a 4.0-liter DOHC V6 producing 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The 4.0-liter DOHC V6 is specifically tuned for the unique demands of truck use. Besides smooth torque delivery, the V6 offers good fuel efficiency and smooth operation.


The 2012 Frontier model lineup consists of Frontier S, Frontier SV, Frontier PRO-4X (4×4 models only) and Frontier SL (Crew Cab only). It is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles, in 4×2 and 4×4 driveline configurations.

An advanced 2.5-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine, wîth 152 horsepower and 171 lb-ft torque, is also available on the Frontier King Cab S-I4 and SV-I4 4×2 models.

Frontier is offered wîth a choice of transmissions – a smooth 5-speed automatic, a 6-speed manual or 5-speed manual transmission (King Cab 4-cylinder models). Frontier 4×4 models include a shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive system wîth 2WD/4H/4LO modes operated by an electronically controlled part-time transfer case.

Other enhancements for 2012 include the addition of standard 2-Wheel Brake Limited Slip (ABLS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) on 4-cylinder engine equipped models, and three new exterior colors: Brilliant Silver, Metallic Blue and Lava Red.
